Asphalt Paving New Orleans paves and maintains driveways, parking lots and private roads across Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John and St. Tammany parishes. We handle new asphalt driveways, commercial lots, porous asphalt for sites with stormwater requirements, sealcoating, patching and line striping.

Paving in this region is different from almost anywhere else in the country. Much of the city sits at or below sea level, the ground settles over time, the rain totals run past 60 inches a year, and tree roots from old live oaks lift anything laid near them. A driveway built the way it would be in a dry, firm-soil town will not last here. That shapes how we work.

How a job runs

• We visit, measure and look at the subgrade, drainage, trees and the curb or apron.
• We tell you which permit applies: City of New Orleans, a parish, a city such as Kenner, or Louisiana DOTD on a state highway.
• You get a written quote listing removal, base depth, asphalt thickness, edges and drainage work.
• Work begins after you approve it. Any change that turns up once the old pavement is out is shown to you and approved in writing.
